The Estate Planning Directory offers three ways for you to be recognized … and a way to cheat!
There are three no-brainer, no-cost opportunities to get your message in front of ready, willing, and able prospects, those looking for someone just like you. Here's how.
Go to www.TheEstatePlanningDirectory.com where you will find a form that allows you to submit your listing to the directory. There are strict limits on the number of characters allowed in the title or headline (40 characters) and in the text (200 characters). Spaces and punctuation count as characters.
To avoid being chopped off in mid-sent… Like that! You need to plan carefully in advance. More importantly, this is a small window of opportunity. Don't try to be everything to everyone, or you are unlikely to attract anyone. Use a rifle-shot approach. Decide on the type of client you most want (other than someone desperate to invest $5 million right now and only with you!). Focus on a single one of that type of client in your message. And include the area in which you practice.
How to cheat if space is too tight? Use the heading and the text as if they were one block, like this:
50-plus? Your will may be in danger of …
… not giving your family the protection you expect. Rarely are all bases covered. Bay area planner can help ease pain and frustration of settling your affairs.

Websites and email addresses do not count toward the total character count.
Since most planners, RRs and insurance people do not have their own web sites, and therefore cannot qualify for Special Link Partner status in the normal way, we have devised an alternative route to the same end for you. But, like everyone else, you have to earn the designation.
First, what is Special Link Partner status, and why is it important to you? Special Link Partners enjoy top of the page listing in larger characters, with extra color and icons to draw attention, plus they are able to post 35 words, plus heading, without counting characters. The sum of all this is greater prominence. Click on Attorneys, Texas, for an example. (Before somebody tries it, we do not allow 500-word headings!)
The top 10 in sales of THEMES™ and The Estate
Manual combined during the previous quarter in each of three categories,
registered representatives, financial planners, and insurance
representatives, will each earn this special status. An additional two in
each category will be nominated by me for this special recognition. The
nominations will be based on service to this directory community and its
users. They could be based on articles submitted for the site or for the
upcoming quarterly newsletter, on sharing experiences of users, or on
novel ways of using THEMES™ to prospect or to service existing
clients.
The selections for this group will strive to be as fair as subjective decisions can be. If you think you have been overlooked, please contact me; I can't do anything to make things right if you don't tell me when I'm wrong.
Winning one of the top spots, apart from providing extra visibility, is meant to give you bragging rights among your peers, too! :)
In a bid to make this site the portal for estate planning information (and therefore more valuable to you), all participants have the opportunity to contribute articles on any aspect related to the subject. It does not matter whether we already have the appropriate category; categories are easy to develop if they make sense.
Each article will carry a byline and up to 40 words at the end for the author to make his or her pitch … preferably related in some way to the thread of the article. Articles may be of any length. Warning: they may be rejected, but they will not be edited by us, so make sure you've caught all the typos and spelling mistakes; it's your reputation at stake!
If you want your photo included with three separate articles, please send each article separately and attach a separate copy of the photograph with each one. Photos (head shots) are preferred in jpg format.
The advantage of the articles is that they will each be keyed to your email address (and Web site, if you have one of your own).
Taking full advantage of The Estate Planning Directory is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Use it well, use it wisely, but use it! Go to www.TheEstatePlanningDirectory.com and complete the listing form now.
